Morten Grove Frandsen

Morten Grove Frandsen is a sought-after and critically acclaimed countertenor; in recent seasons he has sung roles in Thomas Ades’The Exterminating Angel and Hans Abrahamsen’s The Snow Queen at the Royal Danish Opera. He has been the lead singer in several new operas, as well as in early music, including Handel, Gluck, Vivaldi and Monteverdi. He has received several awards, including Léonie Sonning’s Talent Award and a Reumert for his performance in the opera Leaves by Karsten Fundal and Efterklang.
