Carl Bergstrøm-Nielsen (b. 1951) has composed for different types of ensembles with different types of openness in notation and space for improvisation, as well as for electronic/electro-acoustic music He participated in the Group for Alternative Music 1971-77 and worked at the Electronic Music Studio, the Musicology Department, Aarhus University, in 1971 and 1975.
