Andrea Pellegrini

Andrea Pellegrini (mezzo-soprano) made her debut at the Royal Danish Theatre as Rosina in Rossini’s The Barber of Seville in 2006, then at the same place sang a number of further roles. She has also appeared regularly at the Danish National Opera in Århus, Opera Hedeland and Den Ny Opera. As a concert singer Andrea Pellegrini has appeared with the leading Danish orchestras and ensembles, including the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, the Danish National Concert Orchestra and all the regional orchestras. Her concert repertoire ranges wide and, besides the classical concerts and oratorios, includes a number of crossover projects. In 2008 she was awarded the Artist’s Prize of the Danish Music Critics. In 2013 she makes her debut at the Spot Festival in Århus with a Requiem written especially for her.
