Last chance to get 60% discount on Dacapo's back catalogue
Are you are a collector, connoisseur or just generally interested in Danish music? Dacapo's great campaign offering 60% discount on the back catalogue will end by 31 October – and it could be your last chance to get hold of the releases on a CD.
In recent months Dacapo has offered a 60% discount on our great back catalogue including, among others, Dacapo’s iconic releases from 1989 to 2003, recognisable from their red covers, as well as the series with Danish revue songs from the first half of the 20th century.
Now is the last chance to buy the releases with a discount – the campaign will come to an end on 31 October 2020.
The catalogue is digitalised
For more than 30 years, Dacapo has worked to ensure top-quality recordings of important Danish compositions. Our back catalogue features a broad selection of older and recent Danish musical history, and we continue to produce more releases!
To find room for the many new releases in our store, the older CDs will no longer be re-printed. All of them have, however, been digitalised and are available both as download and streaming. Thus, this could be your last chance to get hold of the physical CD's.
Many of the titles in Dacapo’s large back catalogue are only available in a few copies, and some of them are already sold out during the last months – still there are more than 150 titles to choose from featuring everything from early works by Buxtehude, through Romantic music by Friedrich Kuhlau and Niels W. Gade, master pieces by Carl Nielsen and Nancy Dalberg and revue songs from 1900-1950 to new music by a.o. Per Nørgård, Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen and Bent Sørensen.
As the CDs gradually become sold out, they will be removed from the offer. So if you lack certain releases from your CD collection, this could be your last chance to get hold of the physical copies. The releases will, however, continue to be accessible as downloads and on various streaming services.
